"My chariots shall not be bloody, Till the earth records my name", Said the conscientious Buddha, As he renounced War. Milton averred " Peace hath her victories, No less renouned than War " ! Man's essential nature is Peace, War is only an abnormality ! How can a Nation which declares Peace, Aum Shanti, Shanti, advocate War ? From the ethical, moral angle, Peace gets Fame, and War notoriety ! Love cognised is Truth Love in action is Non VIolence Love as pure Being is Wisdom Love as Feeling is Peace. Yet, many believe that war is a necessity biologic, An outlet for the human desire to compete and excel ! Conquest by force is only half victory, True victory is conquest by Love ! Harmony has to be established, And perfection worked out. We have to effectuate the Divine, In a conflicting and contradicting world ! We have been instructed, To rise from Non Being to Being, Asado Ma Sad Gamaya, And to rise from Darkness to Light. In other words, From the Negative to the Positive. But we have a big problem here, As we are confronted by qualities negative ! We have seen Death, But not Immortality ! Mrutyor Ma Amritam Gamaya, Appears to be difficult ! Death, Non Being, Ignorance, Darkness, adversity, disease, All these we have seen, But never experienced the Positive ! Qualties Negative, Are merely the first terms of the Formula, Unintellible to us, Till we work out its esoteric terms ! These qualities negative, Are merely initial discords Of the Musician's symphony, Didnt He create a world miserable ? That too deliberately flawing perfection, Of His Own Creation ? The discords of the world are Lord's discords, To unfold the Godhead within us? The tormenting Evil is He, As well as the Redeeming Grace ! Oru Kai Praharikkave Maru Kai kondu thalodum Easwaran ! Only when we have an integral vision, Can we see beyond all masks, The serene and lovely face, Of the All Blissful Godhead ! His tests test our imperfection, True friemd is He and Heart, the Teacher ! Mind is the greatest Guru, And world, the true Book ! Let us be what the Seer Poets recommended, What Lord Krishna recommended to Arjuna, Realised souls viewing Becoming, Under the metaphor of Being ! Let us rise from Death to Self Realisation, From the Darkness of Nescience to Light Supernal, From the mirage of Non Being to True Being, Thus fulfilling that eternal Prayer Asato Ma Sadgamaya ! Did not Bhagavan Aurobindo, Say that Strive and thou shalt have ? Trust and thy trust shall be justified ? That the Divine Crown is within our reach ? That we have to overcome the Negative, And reach the Positive ! And Implement Positivity, Then only shall the world be redeemed ! The Kingdom of Heaven, Is both worldly and transworldly To implement this Rama Rajya, India, US and Russia exist !

Power is divine !

Aurobindo, a Realist !

Buddha and Sankara of course were two of the greatest philosophers to have graced this planet. Another equally great, Bhagavan Aurobindo, said so

"Buddha and Sankara thought the world to be miserable, hence escape from it to them was the only Wisdom ( Escapism ? ). But then the world is Being, the world is Self, the world is Truth, the world is Ananda, prajna prasrutha purani, Omnipotent Wisdom created this world ! It is not the organised blunder of some Infinite Dreamer ! It is only our perception of the world though the mentalised ego which is the suffering. Hegel's Dialectical Idealism was reversed by Marx ( Dialectical Materialism ). Aurobindo integrated both Materialism and Idealism and called it Dialectical Integralism. He integrated Matter and Spirit. Matter is Brahman ( Padartham Brahma, Annam Brahma ) and is the outer garment of Spirit.

Matter is veiled somnambulist consciousness, which contains all the latent powers of the Spirit. Behind every atom, behind every molecule, there lies hidden and works unknown all the omniscience of the Eternal and the omnipotence of the Infinite. ( Aurobindo )

The Grand Festival of Lights, Diwali !

Actually Diwali is made up of Five Days. First is the Dhana Trayodashi, the thirteen lunation astrologically, the New Year of Business.

The second day is the Naraka Trayodashi, dedicated to the demon Narakasura, who was vanquished by Lord Vishnu.

Sacred Geometry, the Architecture of the Universe !

Most of the Vedic Yantras have Hexagrams or the Six Pointed Star in the middle. This is ithe Tripura Sundari Yantra, which is a Master Plan of Manifestation. The Central Dot is the Bindu, the Absolute Self from which the Universe came into existence !

The Ashwaroodha Yantra normally adorns offices. This S G ( Sacred Geometry ) symbol can attract people and destroy enemies, the Seven Deadly Sins in Man.

The Sudarshana Yantra is great in destroying enemies. The Star of Lakshmi is an octagram, an eight pointed Star, which can bestow the Eightfold Prosperity.

The S G emblems can be seen adorning offices and homes in India. The temples, synagogues, churches and mosques are all built using S G.

The Star of David is also a Hexagram. So is the emblem of Auroville. The upward triangle represent Being, Knowledge, Bliss and the downward triangle Life, Mind & Matter !.

Pentagrams, hexagrams and octagrams are all used in Sacred Geometry. The Golden Ratio, the Divine Proportion or the Sectio Divina or Phi ( 1.618 ) , Pi( 3.14) are all divine numbers used in S G.

In the Sri Yantra, there are three Hexagrams or three triangles bent upward and three triangles bent downward. The Sanskrit Shat Kona is the hexagram or the Six Pointed Star.



The Fibonacci sequence gives the Golden Mean

If you add 1 and 1 you get 2 and if you add 2 and 3 you get 5 and so on and if you divide 5/3 or 8/5 you get 1.618 which is Phi or the Golden Mean !

The Eightfold Verse about the Remover of Obstacles !

We have said earlier about the Obstacles Removing Deity, Ganesh. He combines both Macrocosm and Microcosm. He is the Lord who can remove all impediments and hence all Hindu poetic verses start with a verse in praise of Him !

Mythologically He is the son of Shiva and Parvathi, the Father and Mother of all that is.

All occult power He bestoweth
All obstacles He removes
He is the Celestial Deity
I bow to that Mighty One !

He is worshipped on the Fourth Lunation, on Ganesh Chathurthi. . People in North India follow Ganapatya or the worship of this Deity. There are five more Tantric schools, Saura ( worship of Sun), Vaishnava ( worship of Vishnu ), Saiva ( worship of Sive ), Shaktheya ( worship of Shakti ) & Kaumara, ( the worship of Subramanya ).

With body huge

According to Mythology, both He and his brother, Muruga were told to circle the Universe. Muruga set out on His vehicle, the peacock, but Ganesh just circled His mother, Parvathi and father, Shiva ! He did it faster than His brother !

Mamsa for meat stands for Mam Sah - I am He ! It is Soham reversed. Madya is not physical wine, but the Wine of Bliss stemming from Self Actualisation. Maidhuna symbolises the physical copulation of Purusha and Prakriti, the male and female components of the Ultimate. Meena is fish and represents the feminine channel, Ida and the masculine channel, the Pingala.

Apart from physical meanings, the above verse on Tantra has deep symbolic meaning !
